My work is to be published in the 2010 New American Paintings MFA Annual.

New American Paintings is a juried exhibition-in-print. Each edition results from a highly competitive juried competition and presents the work of 40 painters. Thousands of artists enter our competitions every year, but only a limited number make it through the jurying process. We work closely with renowned curators, such as Lisa Phillips of the New Museum of Contemporary Art and James Rondeau of the Art Institute of Chicago, in order to select those artists whose work deserves to be seen by a wider audience. From post-modern pastiche to the landscape, recognized artists to recent M.F.A. graduates, New American Paintings does not discriminate against style or yield to art world trends.

The Next Generation III Exhibit showcases artists from Masters of Fine Arts programs in schools across Boston whose work encompasses our generation's moment in time.

A continuation in a series of newly traditional exhibitions at Emerson College, curated by the students of Joseph Ketner, the school’s Lois and Henry Foster Chair in Contemporary Art Theory and Practice, aimed at presenting their personal selections of a current, artistic voice.

All of the pieces shown were chosen by Joe Ketner's "What Is Contemporary Art?" class, where we spent three weeks traveling to MFA studios at Boston University, Massachusetts College of Art and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts looking at many works and deciding from dozens to the final 9 artists.
